The adventure continues

The archeologist with a whip goes on another adventure nearly 20 years after we last saw him on screen. He's old, but he sorta still looks the same, his clothes hasn't changed either.
Indiana Jones was one of my "childhood" movies. The first installment of this series came up a year before I was born, but when my sister and I were a bit old enough, he would gather me, my sister and my mom in their room to watch them one night at a time -- and I actually enjoyed them!
I was busy blogging while husband was browsing through cable TV when I heard the ever famous theme song that made my heart jump.
Go back, go back!
There it was, Harrison Ford donning the same costumes complete with his fedora hat and whip swinging from a makeshift vine smashing the windshield of (i assume) the villains in the movie, missing the vehicle he was actually aiming for.
Yes, Indiana Jones acknowledged the fact that he's a bit too old for his own adventures by exclaiming "Not as easy as it used to be"
I'm excited, the theme song itself got me all hyped up, but is it going to be as good as the other three we embraced in the 80's?
Maybe it will, I mean who would've thought Transformers would be made into a live action movie? The technology that we have now made it very possible, and a very very good movie -- in my opinion of course... I mean, being a kid of the 80's nothing will get you more excited seeing one of your favorite cartoons spring into some very believable autobots and decepticons!
After all, this is still a Lucas-Spielberg film. When have they gone bad?!?!
I know Indiana Jones wasn't cartoons, but he's one of the icons. I'm going to see this no matter how old he is already, he can still walk, run, jump and flick that whip so, yeah!
Then again, maybe it won't be as good especially considering how old Harrison Ford already is, sure they brought in Shia LeBouf (of Transformers fame) but we don't care who he is really, we want Indiana Jones' adventures. Can Mr. Ford still do all that action? We have yet to see. Will this turn out to be the first Lucas-Spielberg flop? Hope not!
It'll bring back a lot of memories and probably get my whole extended family to watch it all together the way we used to
