What's it like to scream once, twice, thrice, four times? If you're one of the horror fans who have watched all the Scream movies, then you know that you just can't get enough of them. Not everyone can be a fan of Scream and there are those who say another Scream movie is no longer needed. But who can say this is for a fact? As far as we know, movies, particularly horror films, aren't really a necessity. In other words, people can live without them. But who's to say horror fans can't immerse themselves in one very now and then? It's the modern way of entertainment where you get all the adrenaline thrills without facing any real danger. The Scream series caters to this craving!

A Scream movie might not be the kind of feature that will get critical acclaim, but it doesn't pretend to be something like a painting by Leonardo da Vinci that would be valued for a long time. It's just purely entertainment in the slasher horror genre. But yes, horror movies can be quite repetitive, which is why the makers of Scream 4 crafted a story which places the horror within the context of modern film making, wherein there are new cliches. When before, it's always the bad guys and girls who make out who become the victims, now it's possible for the "virginal" girls to become the victims and in today's horror stories, they even expect what's coming to them!


In Scream 4, horror becomes real for a bunch of students as pranks turn serious as people actually fall victim to a knife-wielding serial killer who's apparently fond of film students. The big question as the plot unravels is the identity of the killer behind the screaming mask. So Scream 4 is really a whodunit movie. First it will intrigue you, then it will thrill you, after which it will horrify you, before finally making you scream in terror as the hero meets the real bad guy and things really happen! As always in horror movies, there's almost always something to surprise audiences in the end!

Scream should be an interesting horror flick because of it's all-star cast with familiar names like Neve Campbell, David Arquette, Courtney Cox, Emma Roberts, Hayden Panettiere, Anna Paquin, and Kristen Bell. It's kind of like bringing together personalities you wouldn't normally see in one film. This trick isn't exactly new in movies. They did it with The Expendables and got big bucks in return. Will Scream 4 fare just as well? It's going to be a big horror story if it doesn't! But by now you should already know the answer. Watch Scream 4 if you dare. You just might have a good time screaming!
