Megan Fox Is a Foxy Demon in Jennifer’s Body
July 7th 2009 07:09
Megan Fox is a possessed cheerleader in the sexy, horror-comedy, teen thriller called Jennifer’s Body. It’s got all the nasty elements to make any hot-blooded teen hot, especially the boys. It’s like the movie Species, where sexy aliens kill boys. In this movie, it’s cheerleader Jennifer with a demon inside her body that kills boys, and then some others.
In the movie, Fox transforms into a sexy something with a big, ugly, fanged mouth. She plays around with both boys and girls and uses her oozing sexuality to entice boys and turn things upside down at her school. The trouble she creates is the kind of mayhem that teens dream about getting away with. But still, the movie sends the message that if you’re bad, something “badder” will happen to you. It’s a typical lesson in horror movies that target a teen audience.
This movie is not meant to be an Oscar winner, although it may get attention at the MTV Awards—who knows. It’s a popcorn movie with scenes teens will pay for to see. It’s a nightmare of possibilities where no one really gets hurt, which makes these kinds of movies really appealing. It’s a fantasy that caters to the primal urges and desires expected in teens—and also in some adults. The fact that Megan Fox was picked for the role speaks a lot about the type of audience the producers intended this movie for. Let's call it Fox entertainment! There's a scene where she sticks out her tongue and burns the tip with a lighter. WHo would want to miss that? See the picture in Hots Up Movies.
Jennifer's Body is never serious and totally outrageous, and banking on a simple premise without deep explanations or reasons. It’s one fun horror movie with echoes of American Pie. Delicious to the taste but may be too much to bear (or bare) for the prudent some. It may sell a lot of movie collectibles of Megan Fox as a demon cheerleader, though.
