Ahead in Moves - perks of geography

I had such a blast the other day when I watched the 1st screening on the first day of showing of DARK KNIGHT on theathers on it's regular release last Thursday - July 17.
I made areview rave about how AMAZING the whole movie was soon as I got over my amazement.
Just now, I was browsing through CNN and saw that the movie was just released in the US! almost 2 days after I've seen it.
aahhh! these are the times I love living in the AustralAsia region. The sun shines on us first, days change on our geographical locations before it does anywhere else and when movies are set for release on almost the same dates all over the world -- we get to see it first!
I saw at least 2 movie reviews and raves about the Dark Knight before I started my post about my own review. I'm guessing they're also from the same region?
Not only did July 17 come to us first before anywhere else in the world, the movie was also released earlier than it was set to be released in the US (July 18 -- which is almost July 19 in some parts of AustralAsia).
No wonder there were only a few reviews of the Dark Knight when I decided to post yesterday!
I'm expecting to see more reviews later?
No one can possibly skip this movie... well, except kids I guess. It's too freaky-scary for kids. Read my RAVES here and you'll know why.
